The purpose of this project is the construction of a visitor service and archaeological campaigns area within the walls of Rada, in order that people may know, see and interpret the ancient walled city of Rada.

The project stems from the relational space itself and the tour area. There is the need to find refuge for visitors and protection of ruins space, being the stage of field visits and interpretation itself.

Due to the strategic location of Rada desolate, the space project emerges as an open-air museum, where the need to cover ruins is not appear, but rather respecting and protecting , in this way the location of the project itself will allow further the tour, observe them from the building  and protect the walls from erosion through it by setting an elevation that mimetize with the uniqueness of the walls.

To do this we set up a series of centers of attraction, being the most significant exhibition spaces, creating a system in which the union of the same following the original tour will set different strategic visions areas, thus determining a perimeter of action.

From this stage we conclude that the entrance area is a desolate strip where visitors can take in at a glance the whole ensemble to closely observe and interpret it.

The project concept consist of connecting tours with different major points .To do this, it modifies the access to the site as the tour before returning to join the existing one. With this achieved differentiate a more primitive route related visitor center and the square; then move to specific trail to the ruins.

We propose two modules with different uses ; the first one dedicated to the care facility visitors that continues from the own access to the site, takes the viewer on a visual journey where the ruins are protagonists at all times, following the original route of the same. It extends to a place following the visit to the ruins and connect to a second module where archaeological campaigns may have a support space and show the user the richness of the place.

It is a dynamic space considered an open air museum where the interpretation and observation will be the main project concepts.

Each module has support spaces, such as: screening rooms where visitors could see evolution films of the site, information and management areas for staff, restaurant areas and indoor- outdoor sitting areas will be presented.

The public space is primarily a place of beaten earth and ceramics that meets the touristic path, so it is a place where social events occur. It works as a viewpoint space, seating area and restoration, creating a scenario to contemplate the ruins space. The square is minimally invasive as it consolidates with soil. So, respects the environment itself and produces visual comfort merging with the surroundings.
